Summary...December 2004 was a dry and mostly mild month in central Oklahoma, which featured some brief cold spells. A rather intense Arctic blast affected the area from the 22nd through the 25th, and was followed by a quick return to springlike conditions with temperatures the final three days of the month more like March or April than late December. Widespread rain and thunderstorm occurred throughout the state on the 6th, while snow fell through the southern half of the state (even in Norman) on the 22nd.

Turlock CA had 3.82 inches of rain during Dec 2004, with 3.00 inches falling in the final five days of the month. The 2004-05 season total was 7.02 inches at the end of the month
