Summary...November 2004 was a drizzly, foggy, and overcast month in central Oklahoma - with little in the way of clear skies or sunshine seen during the month. Despite all the rain, Oklahoma saw little in the way of thunderstorm activity, although an interesting outbreak of small tornadoes occurred north and east of Oklahoma City on the 10th. For the third time in four years Oklahoma was treated to a display of the Aurora Borealis on the evening of the 7th - fortunately that was a night that skies were clear, as a bluish green glow was visible along the northern horizon for much of the evening. Oklahoma City saw its first snowflakes of the season early on the 24th, while we here in Norman had our first snow (and sleet) on the night of the 29th-30th.

Turlock CA recorded 1.33 inches of rain during Nov 2004, bringing their 2004-05 season total to 3.20 inches.
