Summary....October 2004 brought mild temperatures and a good deal of wet weather to central Oklahoma. The warmest part of the month occurred the last week and a half of the month, where the area saw several days of humidity more typical of July/August. More than half of the month's rain fell on the 10th, although it was quite wet throughout the month with a trace or more of rain falling on 15 out of 31 days this month.
Although they did not nearly get as much rain as parts of the Bay Area and Los Angeles area, Turlock CA had quite a bit of rain in Oct 2004 as well. A total of 1.79 inches fell during the month. A total of .86 inch fell during an unseasonably strong early season storm on the 18th-19th, which also produced 37 mph winds and caused minor tree damage throughout the area. The 2004-05 season total through the end of the month was 1.87 inches.
