Summary....Central Oklahoma finally had weather more typical of summer in Sep 2004, with very little in the way of rain or thunderstorm activity. What little shower and thunderstorm activity occurred during the month tended to be scattered and did not affect the entire area. The shower and thunderstorm activity that affected the area on the 14th-16th didn't even leave a drop of rain in Norman, while the 1.02 inch dumping we got the morning of the 6th left much less rain in other parts of the OKC area.

Turlock CA had its first rainfall of the 2004-05 season on the 19th, picking up .08 inch of rain as thunderstorms moved through the area. This was the first rainfall of any kind in Turlock since May 28, which ended a 113 day dry spell.
