Summary....Fall seemed to be in full swing during Aug 2004 in central Oklahoma, as the area experienced much cooler than average temperatures for most of the month. The area was affected by several unseasonably strong cold frontal passages during the month. The most notable frontal passage occurred on the 11th, which brought damaging winds and flooding rains to much of central Oklahoma. Strong northerly winds followed the front for much of the day, something almost unheard of this time of year.

Turlock CA received no rainfall for the third month in a row, keeping the 2004-05 season total at zero. Through the end of the month, Turlock had not received any rain since May 28.
