These images were taken about 2 miles east of Belle Plaine KS and 6 miles south of Mulvane KS between 7:26pm and 7:35pm. This tornado tracked southeast of Mulvane KS and initally travelled east before arcing to the southeast later in its life cycle. The tornado is about 5 miles north-northeast of the photographer's position in the first image, and about 3 miles east-northeast of the photographer's position in the last image. This tornado appeared to be quite strong throughout its lifecycle, and may have been approaching violent intensity as it moved into the sunlight. The tornado was doing significant damage to a frame home and tossing vehicles at the time of the fifth image in the third row.
